When you think of Nashville, you think of country music, am I right? Us, too. But it turns out that the capital of country music should be known as a healthcare hub. First, the healthcare industry has 4.7x more economic impact than the music industry. Second, Nashville has more facilities operated by homegrown companies than any other state in the union, beating out Florida, Texas, and California.
So when Healthcare Seed Fund, Jumpstart Foundry, was looking for innovators in health tech, we jumped at the opportunity for seed funding and access to the network that would help us grow.
And guess what? Out of 250 applications, we were one of just 13 selected!
